Happy hounds on holiday!

We love dogs here at Bunn Leisure, and your dog can spend an exciting week with you at one of our holiday villages for less than the price of a couple of nights at a kennel!

Beautiful West Sussex is the perfect place for holidaying hounds, with plenty of country parks and bracing beach walks.

Bringing your pet to stay with us opens up a world of doggy delights, from splashing in the waves at our exclusive mile-long stretch of beach to trotting around the 300-acre park on their lead.

Plenty of nearby attractions allow dogs, too. Just a short drive away from the shores of Selsey, the Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre welcomes dogs across its 36-acre site – they can even take a ride on the narrow-gauge railway to rest tired paws. When hunger sets in, head to the dog-friendly Amberley Village Tearoom for a cream tea, or tuck into a pub lunch at the George and Dragon at Houghton.

The beautiful South Downs National Park is right on our doorstep, and a great place for dogs to really stretch their legs. Dog walkers are asked to keep to the paths between March and September, to protect the park’s ground nesting birds, and should be kept on a lead near livestock.

The RSPB’s Medmerry nature reserve and Pagham Harbour are also just next door, and offer miles of footpaths and wide open landscapes, with panoramic views. Walks to the beach on a clear day will be rewarded with views across to the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower.

Bringing your dog on holiday is easy: all you have to do is say you are bringing your pooch when booking to ensure that we provide the accommodation best suited to you – our holiday cottages do not accept dogs.

You should also bring a vaccination certificate and your pet’s favourite basket to avoid them snoozing on beds or chairs, and pay £30 per dog per week – you can bring up to two.

Dogs aren’t allowed in the entertainment complexes, and should be exercised on a lead – but apart from that, a holiday with us could be the ideal solution for all those who hate leaving their pets behind when they go away.
