Meet our heat finalists… Beth and Charlie Clarke

Finalists Beth and Charlie popped in for a chat ahead of Bunn Leisure’s Got Talent live finals on November 25, where they will be joined by this year’s talent finalists to compete in front of our LIVE audience and judges, including guest judge Sinitta, for a huge cash prize.


Q: What are your names?

A: Beth and Charlie Clarke


Q: How old are you?

A:  Beth 16 & Charlie 13


Q: Where is your home town?

A: Aldershot


Q: What school do you attend?

A: Beth: Farnham Sixth Form College where I study A Level Architecture & BTEC Media.

Charlie: In Year 9 at Alderwood Secondary School in Aldershot.


Q: Do you own a caravan at Bunn Leisure? If so, how long have you/your family been owners?

A: Our grandparents are owners and have been for four years.


Q: How many times have you visited Bunn Leisure?

A: Too many to count!


Q: What is your favourite colour? 

A: Beth: Peach. Charlie: Pink


Q: What is your favourite food?

A: Beth: Salted Caramel Waffle. Charlie: Chocolate


Q: What are your top three favourite things to do at Bunn Leisure?

A: Take part in BLGT, swimming & spending time at the beach


Q: When did you win your Bunn Leisure’s Got Talent heat?

A: Week 3 winners – 20th April, 2017


Q: How did it feel when they announced your names as the winner of your heat?

A: Both very excited when we heard that we had secured our place in the Grand Final.


Q: For those who haven’t seen your act yet, what is it you do and what can we all expect for the final? 

A: The act is a dance which Beth choregraphed and Charlie contributed to. We will be dancing to Bump in the Night and it is based on a childhood favourite cartoon, Scooby Doo.


Q: How long have you been performing?

A: We have both been dancing since the age of 4. 


Q: How often are you rehearsing your act for the final?

A: We have been rehearsing hard to perfect our routine.


Q: Is your performance created by you or did you have help – if so, who helped you?

A: The act was choregraphed by Beth. No help from anybody else.


Q: Who inspires you and why?

A: Beth: Brian Friedman – he’s very inspirational. Charlie: Beth inspires me. She’s a great dancer and performer and has helped me develop over the years.


Q: Who is your biggest supporter?

A: Our mum.


Q: How are you feeling about performing for up to 2,000 people at the live finals in November? 

A: This is Beth’s 4th time of performing at BLGT and Charlie’s 2nd time. They are both very excited.  Beth has performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London and The Guildhall in Portsmouth, so she’s used to big audiences.


Q: If you win the final, what will you do with the £1,000 prize money?

A: Beth: I would save my share and put it towards Uni. Charlie: I would enjoy a girlie spending spree.

Q: Do you have any ambitions for using your talent further in the future?

A: Beth: I would like to work in the film industry. Charlie: I would like to become an actress in musical theatre.


Q: What would you like to say to all your fans and supporters right now?

A: Thank you for all your love and support and we hope you enjoyed our performance. It means the world to us.
