Life. It’s not about waiting for the storm to pass... It’s about learning to dance in the rain!

March may not see sunny Selsey in its summer sunshine glory - but that doesn't matter when it comes to having fun.

Kids don't care about the weather and you don't have to break the bank to have a good time. It's time spent together that they remember - and all the little rituals, outings and treats which make that time special at Bunn Leisure.

- Swimming with daddy before yummy sausage and mash in your cosy home-from-home.

- Wearing yellow wellies for a walk in the rain - just for some fresh air, some fun and some chips in the pub at the beach.

- Board games, hot chocolate, and a barbecue - well why not?

- Kids clubs, cracking entertainment and some quiet time for mum and dad on their own.

Then a quiet night in or getting dressed up for an evening of music - and laughing at dad dancing.

If you fancy a break and want to discover some of our beautiful region, then there's plenty to choose from:

Take a trip up the Spinnaker Tower on a cold bright day when the views across the Solent are awesome. Come back down to earth with some spring retail therapy at Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays at its base.

Take a drive around the Selsey peninsula.  We have amazing beaches to walk along and countryside to cycle through.  Try a bike ride to Selsey Lifeboat Station and the beautiful Witterings beaches, which are great for body boarding if you're brave enough and have a wetsuit!

The bass and bream start to come in now - our fish and seafood is second to none so fill your boots. If fancy fish isn't for the kids then there's nothing like a windy walk and sausage and chips on the beach to get the colour in their cheeks.

Visit Peppa Pig - she's less than an hour away at the award-winning Paultons family theme park at the gateway to the New Forest.

Chichester, Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton are all in easy reach - but you can escape back to our peninsula when you've had enough of the big wide world.

How about a treat for Mother's day? Mothering weekend brings The Stars from The Commitments, so get your mum up and dancing to Mustang Sally to party the night away!

Also in March, rhythm and blues group The Platters will be gracing us with their soul and doo-wop on the 21st, and chart topping powerhouse Angie Brown will be hosting a night of smash hits on the 28th at the Embassy.

March break prices start at just £144 for a family of six, so there's no need to sit at home and wait for the storm to pass.  Come on - let's dance!
