CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
1.Terms - All terms are per week or per short
break and for the holiday homes as equipped and described. The
usual time of take-over is 4pm (subject to unavoidable delays). You
must leave your holiday home by 10am, if you are later departing
you will be charged a penalty fee equal to the daily rate of your
holiday. You are expected to leave everything in a clean and tidy
condition. You are responsible for any damage or loss sustained
during your stay. Prices quoted in this brochure include VAT.
Please hand your key into reception on departure. Maximum length of
stay is three weeks. Unless the Bunn Leisure is previously
notified, your
accommodation must be claimed before 10am on the day after your
holiday is due to start, or we will cancel the holiday.
2. Booking Confirmation - Once a booking has been
made you will receive confirmation, only after monies have been
paid does a contract between Bunn Leisure and the customer exist.
Once a booking has been confirmed, there is a £20 alteration fee
for any amendments. No booking is transferable within 28 days of
the start of the holiday.
3. Number In Your Party - This booking has been
entered into on the understanding that the total number in your
party shall in no
circumstances exceed the capacity of the holiday home as advertised
in this brochure. Children and infants must be included in the
total number of the party.
4. Initial Payment - When you book, the initial
payment stated must be paid. This initial payment must include your
booking deposit as part payment towards the cost of your holiday
& subscription to Holiday Cancellation Protection (if
required). If you wish to take advantage of any offers, they must
be claimed at this stage. Holiday deposits/payments, unfortunately,
cannot be transferred from one year to another.
5. The Balance Of Hire Money - The balance of hire
money as shown on your invoice is due and payable 6 weeks before
the start of your holiday. Your invoice gives full details. For
bookings made within 6 weeks of your holiday start-date, you will
normally pay the full hire charge when you make your booking. If
you wish to pay your balance-of-hire by credit card, then you must
contact us to do this not later than 6 weeks before your holiday
starts.
6. Booking Cancellation - If you are compelled to
cancel your holiday you must inform us in writing at the Bunn
Leisure address by 1st class mail and enclose your holiday's
invoice. We will endeavour to re-let the holiday home for you; if
we are successful in re-letting you will only forfeit the booking
deposit. If we cannot re-let then you will be held responsible for
prompt payment of the full balance-of-hire due on the holiday home
booked. Should you have to cancel within 35 days of your holiday,
you must telephone us immediately and follow this with a written
confirmation by 1st class mail. However, your subscription to
Holiday Cancellation Protection covers you for all or part of these
liabilities if you cancel for one of the qualifying reasons. Please
note, we do not offer insurance protection on our cottages. Any
monies paid will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.
7. No Quibble Money Back Guarantee - For bookings
made more than twelve weeks before your arrival date, and where you
have taken out cancellation protection, we will refund all your
money (less the cancellation protection) regardless of the reason
on all bookings cancelled more than eight weeks before arrival.
8. Minors (Under 21's) - Bookings from persons
under 21 cannot be accepted unless accompanied by a parent or
suitably aged guardian. Prams and pushchairs are not permitted in
the entertainment venues.
9. Linen and Towels - Bedding is provided -
pillows, duvets/quilts, covers, sheets and pillow cases. However,
towels are not provided.
10. Availability - The Booking is made on the
understanding that the holiday home will be placed at your disposal
on the date stated. Should this not be possible through
circumstances not under the control of the owner (e.g. fire, theft
or damage) we cannot guarantee to provide an alternative holiday
home. In this case, the booking deposit will be refunded to you in
full but you will have no claim against the owner. In the interest
of continued improvement Bunn Leisure reserves the right to alter
or delete amenities or facilities or any part of the programme of
activities either advertised or previously available without prior
notice. The company reserves the right to move or amend bookings
already confirmed without notifying you.
11. All Male/Female Party/Other Bookings - The
Holiday Villages in this brochure cater primarily for family
holidays. Bookings for all male/female or mixed groups will only be
taken at the discretion of the Bunn Leisure Manager, whose decision
is final. If accepted, a returnable security and cleanliness
deposit will be required. We will not accept bookings from
contractors or people working in the area, unless agreed by the
Bunn Leisure Manager. We reserve the right to refuse entry to
booked accommodation. We reserve the right to refuse any booking
from parties which may, in our opinion be unsuitable, either by
reason of numbers,
composition or false declaration. No all-male/female parties will
be accepted during main holidays.
12. Your Pet - You may bring your dog with you to
many holiday homes, provided you can produce a vaccination
certificate if requested. A charge of £40 per pet per week/booking
will be made for this facility. You must tell us that you are
bringing your pet when you make your booking. You will need to
bring your pet basket with you as pets are only allowed on the
clear understanding that under no circumstances may your pet lie on
bedding or chairs. Pets are not allowed in the entertainment
complexes
(clubs, shops, bars or swimming pool areas) and must be exercised
on a lead. Pets must not be left unattended in holiday homes or
elsewhere. The maximum number of pets is 2. Unfortunately, no
refund can be given if pets are not in attendance. Please note pets
are not permitted in our cottages.
13. Swimming Pool/Steam Room/Sauna/Sunbeds -
Children under the age of 12 and non-swimmers are not allowed to
use the swimming pools unless accompanied by an adult. Under 16's
are not allowed in the Health Suite and Fitness Centre.
14. Your Vehicles - Your vehicles, their
accessories and contents are left at your risk. The holiday home
proprietors will not be responsible for loss or damage to
accessories or contents from any causes except from the negligence
of its employees and/or agents. Parking and other regulations are
in accordance with Local Authority requirements.
15. Service - You are asked to notify any
short-comings in your holiday home to Reception immediately so that
they can be remedied for you. If you do not notify us immediately,
we cannot consider any claim submitted. Written claims not received
by Bunn Leisure within 14 days of the completion of your holiday
will not be considered.
16. Bunn Leisure Reserves... - Bunn Leisure reserves the right to refuse to hand over accommodation to any person who, in the opinion of the Manager, is not suitable to take charge. In such cases all hire charges shall be refunded in full and the contract shall be terminated. If, in the reasonable opinion of ourselves and/or Bunn Leisure, any person(s) is not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to property, danger or significant annoyance to others, the contract may be terminated, in which case we will not have further liability. In this event, you will remain liable to pay the hire price and no refund shall be due. The hirer shall also be liable for any damage caused in the holiday home. We and the owner(s) have the right to enter any accommodation (without prior notice if this is not practical or possible) if special circumstances or emergencies occur (e.g. if repairs need to be carried out).
17. While Every Care Is Taken - While every care
is taken to ensure the details shown in this brochure are correct,
Bunn Leisure cannot accept responsibility for errors or
misunderstanding.
18. Special Conditions - Ball games will not be
permitted near caravans or built up areas - please use areas
provided. Please note: Push chairs are not permitted in the clubs.
Boats/Jet Skis and such water craft are not permitted to be parked
by caravans or in our car parks. Storage facilities are available
on request.
While every effort will be made to return lost property, Bunn
Leisure cannot accept responsibility for items left after
departure. Lost property will only be held for one month after
departure.
19. Smoking - In order to comply with new
legislation we expect all of our guests not to smoke in any of our
caravans, cottages, pubs, clubs, restaurants and indoor venues.
They will be liable for any damage caused through smoking.
20. Sun Breaks - In order to use certain Bunn
Leisure facilities, Club Membership must be purchased. Gas,
electric and linen are additional charges.
CONDITIONS OF HOLIDAY
Cancellation Protection
This must be taken out at the time of booking.
1. This relieves you, as the person making the booking, of the
responsibility for payment of your balance-of-hire if;
a) you are forced to cancel your holiday because of illness,
death, injury or maternity, affecting any member of your party (all
guests must be detailed by you on your booking form at the time of
booking)
b) because of your redundancy or that of your spouse, (qualifying
for payment under the Redundancy Payments Act 1965)
c) because of your unforeseen occupational posting in your present
employment
d) because of fire, storm, floods, subsidence or malicious damage,
rendering your home uninhabitable
e) because of the police requiring your presence following a
burglary at your home or place of business or witness or jury
service by you or your spouse
f) because of death or serious injury or illness of a close
relative.
Providing these circumstances have arisen since you made your booking and you can supply supporting documentary evidence, then you will no longer be liable for the balance of hire monies due on your booking. To qualify you must notify us in writing immediately the circumstances arise.
In the case of multiple or party bookings (i.e. where more than one holiday home is booked at the same time) cover is assessed on each holiday home individually.
The cancellation fee must be paid for each unit on multiple reservations.
Our cover also provides you with a refund of your
balance-of-hire if the qualifying circumstances arise before you
leave home for
your holiday and where you have already paid for the holiday.
Cancellation protection will cease on arrival and under no circumstances will a refund be made.
Your Booking Deposit Cover
Provided Bunn Leisure receive written notice from you more than six weeks before your holiday is due to start, and you are cancelling for one of the qualifying reasons, your booking deposit will be returned to you in full minus your Cancellation Protection Fee.
If we receive written notice from you six weeks or less before the start of your holiday and provided you are cancelling for one of the qualifying reasons, then your initial payment will be refunded, minus your Cancellation Protection Fee and a £20 administration charge.
If you cancel for circumstances not covered in this scheme and we receive notice from you in writing more than six weeks before you are due to start your holiday then you only forfeit your booking deposit for each week cancelled. But, if we receive notice to cancel six weeks or less before you are due to start your holiday and the reason for cancelling is not listed as a qualifying circumstance, you forfeit the booking deposit and you will be responsible for the payment of the balance of- hire if we cannot re-let for each week cancelled.
The decision of Bunn Leisure on all claims will be final.
