All England Jumping Course - Hickstead

 

In the 1960's there were no facilities in Great Britain that could match those found in Europe and the United States: this left the British riders with a disadvantage before they had jumped a fence.

The All England Jumping Course was created by Douglas Bunn after he purchased Hickstead Place and the surrounding land with the intention, "to put on the best show jumping possible at a venue that is superior to anything found in the world".

HM Naval Base Portsmouth Field Gun Crew

 

Bunn Leisure is delighted to have sponsored HM Naval Base Portsmouth Field Gun Crew since 2011 when the world record for the Gun Run was broken and a new record of 1 minute 17.78 seconds was set by HMNB Portsmouth.

 

The Gun weighs in at 1250lbs, the Limber 360lbs and each of the four wheels is 120lbs each! The total amount lifted in one go at the 'Double-Lift'  is over 1 Ton.

 

We wish HMNB Portsmouth the best of luck on June 1st in the Royal Naval Field Gun Competition.

Selsey First Responders

 

The Selsey First Responders are part of the Community First Responder Scheme and are the first port of call for medical emergencies in locations where there is no or limited local ambulance services. This wonderful scheme has helped save the lives of countless people in rural areas and continues to aid people in time of medical emergencies.
