All England Jumping Course - Hickstead
In the 1960's there were no facilities in
Great Britain that could match those found in Europe and the United
States: this left the British riders with a disadvantage before
they had jumped a fence.
The All England Jumping Course was created by Douglas Bunn after he
purchased Hickstead Place and the surrounding land with the
intention, "to put on the best show jumping possible at a venue
that is superior to anything found in the world".
