Oasis Complex Duty Manager

 

We are looking for a Duty Manager to assist in running our multi-faceted leisure centre, The Oasis. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate as Bunn Leisure continues to grow and invest in the future.

The Oasis Leisure Complex is a fantastic facility and boasts a 25m competition pool, a shallow entry leisure pool, slides, lazy river, steam room, sauna and 45 station gym fitted with Technogym equipment. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong leisure management background, be strategic and proactive with an effective and motivational management style. You will need to be able to manage and plan in a fully operational facility with emphasis on health & safety in a busy and challenging environment. 

Your main responsibilities will include:

Working alongside, and reporting directly to the Complex Manager.

The day to day running of the facility which includes managing the Duty Supervisors, Gym Instructors, Lifeguards, Sports & Swim Coaches, Receptionists and Cafe team members.

Ensuring that the NOP's and EAP's are applied and fully adhered to.

Providing excellent customer service to our many guests, ensuring that they have a safe and enjoyable leisure environment.

Acting as first point of contact, making sure customer queries and handled and resolved efficiently and professionally.

Recruit, induct, train and review team members regularly.

Seek and evaluate customer feedback.

Develop and maintain good working relationships with groups and organisers.

Managing the cleaning schedules and checking procedures to ensure that all customer areas, equipment & amenities are presented at the highest standards at all times.

To maintain and review the NOP and EAP, building maintenance, stock control, health & safety and risk assessments.

Customer memberships and general administration duties.


Candidate requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous management or supervisory experience within the Health & Fitness Leisure environment and a thorough understanding of leisure facility operations. Holding either a NPLQ, a Pool Plant Operators Certificate, a Water Sampling/Spa Certificate, Leisure Management Qualification or TA Qualification would be an advantage. You will have a natural aptitude for business and will be passionate about our high standards at Bunn Leisure. You will be fully competent and experienced in lifesaving and have hands on first aid experience with the appropriate qualifications. As well as being physically fit you will also have good English, Maths and IT skills and will be able to meet deadlines, analyse data control a budget and have an eye for problem solving. Your communication skills will be excellent and you will be confident, self motivated and extremely reliable. You will also be flexible with shift working patterns.

Salary - £21,000 PA
Hours - 40 hours per week over 5 days as part of a 7 day rota.

Lifeguard

 

Working in The Oasis Leisure Complex, the role will be to supervise the swimming pool area to ensure the safety of our bathers.

This position is seasonal with full and part time hours available. You will be required to work weekend and bank holidays.

The ideal candidate will require:-

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent .
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be a committed Team Player being both flexible, enthusiastic and have a strong work drive.
• Be aware of Health and Safety procedures.
• Be able to demonstrate fantastic customer service skills.
• Be able to demonstrate a flexible and organized approach.
• Be able to follow good working practices.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the venue.

Cafe Max Assistant

 

Bunn Leisure and The Oasis require an enthusiastic Cafe assistant to work at the Cafe Max outlet within The Oasis at our busy Waterfront Complex. We are looking for both full time and part time applicants.

Some experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. The ideal person will be passionate about providing the best customer service to our holiday makers and guests and must be flexible, hard working, have good communication skills and maintain a welcoming atmosphere at all times.

Basic/intermediate food hygiene certificates would be an advantage.

The successful candidate must be clean, presentable and in full uniform at all times.

All roles are subject to a CRB check.

Oasis Recreation Assistant

 

This position will be to maintain our busy changing areas, toilets and surroundings in The Oasis Leisure Complex to our high standards of cleanliness.

The position available is seasonal, with full and part time hours available. You will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays.

The ideal candidate will require:-

Good interpersonal and communication skills
Be a committed team player being both flexible and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
Be passionate about delivering good customer service
Experience in a similar environment preferred although not essential as training will be provided
Promote a healthy and hygienic venue
Ensure the venue is always in a clean and presentable state

Seasonal Bar Staff

We are looking for full-time and part-time Bar Staff to join the bar teams at The Waterfront Complex, White Horse Complex and The Viking, all located at Bunn Leisure's award winning holiday park..

 

Serving refreshments and snacks to our holidaymakers, the successful candidates will have exceptional people skills and be able to deliver the high level of customer service our visitors associate with Bunn Leisure.   You will have an eye for detail and be responsible for keeping the bar areas clean, tidy and clear of used glasses.  Strong team working skills are essential and you will need to be compliant with Health and Safety regulations.

 

Comprehensive training will be provided.

 

Full-time and part-time hours are available. Hours include weekends and Bank Holidays until the end of the season and will include regular shifts ending in the early hours of the morning.

Holidays Receptionist West Sands

 

Bunn Leisure are looking to recruit a highly motivated and confident receptionist to work at the holidays reception at West Sands.

 

This is ia full time position and will require working weekends, bank holidays and evenings.

 

This is a front of house position and the successful candidate will have exceptional people skills, a professional telephone manner, be computer proficient, polite, reliable and able to deliver a high level of customer service that our visitors associate with Bunn Leisure. You must also be flexible and willing to work different shifts if required.

 

Duties will include

  • Being responsible for recording and processing reservation inquiries made by phone, email or over the desk, efficiently and accurately.
  • To liaise with travel agents and other companies where applicable.
  • Converting holiday inquiries into sales in order to maximise revenue and occupancy.
  • Greeting guests and visitors and making them feel welcome in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Ensure all paperwork reservations, emails and faxing are completed or responded to in a timely fashion.
  • General administration to be completed.

  • Confident with cash handling, administrative duties, computers and other office equipment.

Mulberry Shop & Planning Assistant

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and proactive individual to join the Mulberry team, located at West Sands Holiday Park, Selsey.

 This diverse role covers the sales of verandas, storage boxes and caravan services; working closely with contractors fro installation. You will be responsible for ensuring that all company, private pitches and caravans adhere to the company guidelines and park standards. Ensure that all plans for new structures and development work are fully researched and appropriate permissions are issued. The Mulberry shops retail hardware and essential caravan accessories which meet the requirements of the caravan owner and holiday guests.

The successful candidate will have a commercial eye and a positive sales approach. They also require exceptional customer service skills and be able to confidently handle all customer interaction.

Essential Skills & Experience

Exceptional customer service and interaction skill.
Excellent communication and information imparting skills.
The ability to sell high value items by understanding the customer needs and designing the appropriate product to meet those needs.
Infectious enthusiasm and a proactive approach.

Your working week will be an average of 40 hours over a 5 day week. The candidate will be expected to work most weekends and bank holidays in keeping with the needs of business.

Seasonal Caravan Checker

 

Bunn Leisure is looking to recruit seasonal caravan checkers to ensure our caravans are up to our high standards for our holiday guests.

We are looking for employees that are reliable, trustworthy and with good attention to detail. You will be required to work Monday and/or Friday from 10am to 4pm. The job requires that you go into caravans to ensure cleanliness standards are high, maintenance checks are done and any issues found are reported, you will also need to make sure there is a complete range of inventory.

Payroll Clerk

 

We are looking to recruit a payroll administrator on a part time basis.

In this position you will be responsible for:
The administration and implementation of both weekly, seasonal and monthly payrolls across a variety of jobs and shift patterns.
Relevant ad-hoc duties to support the department and the business.
Compliance with company policy and procedures.
Providing information and assistance to both internal and external auditors.
Undertaking any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the Financial Controller, Management, Accountants or Directors.

The successful candidate will have:
Experience within payroll.
Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system along with superb problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential as is being able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
High attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of Pegasus Opera 3 or similar accounting package.
Very good knowledge and experience with MS Excel & MS Word.
Good organisational skill and be self motivated.
Excellent communication skills.

Sales Ledger Clerk

 

The Accounts department are looking to recruit an experienced sales ledger clerk to work within our finance team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background covering sales ledger and credit control, strong all round knowledge of all aspects of the accounts department would be an advantage.

Your duties will include:
Monthly and daily reconciliation.
Raising invoices and allocating payments.
Sending out statements.
Producing debtor reports and chasing aged debts.
Managing, checking and recording the sales ledger.
Assisting with the purchase ledger.
Raising credit notes.
Dealing with various enquiries.

The successful sales ledger clerk will have:
High attention to detail.
Good working knowledge of Pegasus Opera 3 or similar accounting package.
Very good knowledge and experience with MS Excel & MS Word.
Good organisational skills and be self motivated.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
