PSV Driver

 

PSV Driver

 

We are looking for an experienced PSV Driver to convey Bunn Leisure customers along a pre-determined route through our parks in accordance with the agreed time table in a safe and professional manner. This job is seasonal from 1st March to 31st October, however there is the opportunity for the role to become permanent at the end of the season.

 

Hours of work: up to 42 hours per week.

 

Work to include working shifts, some weekends and late nights; working until 02.30am in peak periods.

Summary of Duties

 

1. To ensure that the vehicle is driven with due care and attention, ensuring the safety of passengers and the general public.

 

2. To assist Bunn Leisure with the PSV operating requirements, complying with all domestic driving regulations and procedures.

 

3. Completion of a defect report before commencement of duties and any defects reported to the workshop foreman and transport office.

 

4. Keep a record of all drivers hours and complete a working time directive record each week.

 

5. Engage with the visitors and answer any questions in a friendly and helpful manner, giving any passenger with special needs every assistance and attention.

 

6. Provide written reports of any accidents or incidents.

 

7. Provide instructions to the land train attendant for them to complete within the scope of their capabilities.

 

8. The successful applicant will be required to have a CRB check.

 

9. A willingness to work outdoors; in variable weather conditions.

 

10. To ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with Bunn Leisure's Health & Safety policy and other relevant policies.

Swimming Instructor/Coordinator

Bunn Leisure are looking to recruit a confident, polite and fully qualified Swimming Instructor/Coordinator. You will be based at our state of the art Oasis Leisure Complex in Selsey, West Sussex.

You will need to be a dynamic, motivated professional individual who is a suitably qualified and has a passion for swimming teaching.

You will be working approximately 10-16 per week.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years previous experience in teaching ages 4 - 16 years of age
Be able to plan and coordinate lessons for each term including assessments and certificates.

Have good wriiten and spoken communication skills and be confident with using Word and Excel.

Be able to communicate, organise, motivate and support other swim teachers.

A life saving and first aid qualification would be an advantage.

Shop Unit Manager - White Horse Store

 

We are looking for an enthusiatic and professional individual to join our dynamic Shop Group as A Shop Unit Manager on a permanent basis.

 

At Bunn Leisure we pride ourselves on providing our customers with all of their basic holiday essentials and our shops are a key element of our customer experience.

 

We stock a range of products from food to gifts, beachware to hardware and lots in between so that we have the basic needs of everyone at hand on site.

 

The White Horse Store is a small store which would suit a supervisor or section manager looking to take on a more autonomous role with a very small team. There will be times when there is no requirement to have more than one person and, cost control is a very important aspect of running such a small unit.

 

Opening from morning to evening and late at weekends an ability to operate a consistent service is required and the teams rota will be key to this process. The opening hours will be different in low season to those in high season and therefore planning recruitment with this in mind will be crucial as flexibility will be required.

 

This is not a role for a seasoned, experienced manger looking to progress further as it is a starting role for a junior level manager or supervisor. All aspects of the business, cash control, ordering, dealing with suppliers, banking, recruitment and the general day to day operation are encompassed in this role albeit in a slightly more relaxed atmosphere than a large busy supermarket operation.
